Captured this sunburst (10/23/16) over the valley from Mentone, Alabama off of Al Highway 117 along the Lookout Mountain Parkway. The parkway goes btween Fort Payne, Al to Chattanooga, Tn. Was heading up north to photograph the fall colors. However as you can see not muct in the way of colors. Was informed there has been a drought in this part of the state so most trees go from green to brown before falling off. Besides not much color it is a fun 93 mile drive.
Yesterday was a great day for doing some hiking as the weather in the area was in the uper fifies. So it was off to Blackwater State Park near Milton, Florida. Captured this reflection along the river.
It is alway fun to shoot after the sun has set during the evening blue hour. The idea here (long exposure) was to get some cloud motion along with light movement on the bridge as cars drove past. With this photo I am looking across the bay along the 3 Mile Bridge toward Pensacola, Florida. I am on the shoreline at Wayside Boat Ramp in Gulf Breeze, Florida facing North.
