During our recent 5 week spring 2018 photo trip across the southwest and west we stopped at Zion National Park in Utah. This is one of the springs that runs through the park. One lonely person was sitting on the rocks enjoying the the view.
It always fun to travel on the backroad like we did on a recent trip out west. Here on US Hwy 90 in St Tammany Parish, Louisiana I photographed this old left bridge over the West Pearl River built in 1933.
It's always fun to walk along the River Walk located in downtown San Antonio, Texas. While in Austin I spend a number of nights walking the River Walk capturing interesting shots like this one along River Center. With this shot I was using the Sony A7M3 with the Sony FE 16-35mm F4.0 ZA Lens, 1/6 sec at f4 ISO 400.
One night we were able to have a Navajo guide take us to with in 100ft walking distance of the Horseshoe Bend on their land. Even though it was a cloudy overcast evening with no real sunset I was still able to get a few good shots. Captured this shot using the Sony A7M3 with the Sony FE 16-35mm F/4 ZA lens. Camera was mounted on a tripod and I was close to the edge of the cliff.
It was a sunburst through the cactus as the sun was setting on the grounds of Saguaro National Park in Tucson Arizona. Captured this setting using the new Sony A7M3 with the Sony FE 16-35mm F/4 ZA lens handheld.
